Hard Candy First Flush mini kit

 I finally decided to try out a few things from Hard Candy after seeing some reviews online. I wanted to try out their blush,  face primer and pink highlighter, so when I came across this little kit of deluxe samples I just had to have it. It's the perfect way to test out 4 different products for the price of 1.

Price: 11$ from the lovely ebay seller El-potaoe.

There is 4 kits to choose from: Naturally Naughty, Bad girl next door, Firt Flush and Glamazon Glow. I got the First Flush because it had some of the products I wanted to try anyways and thought it would be nice to start out with the smaller version first.

In the kit you get:

Sheer Envy face primer 0.40 OZ/ 10,4 grams:

I'm really happy with this face primer, normally I don't care for face primers as I don't feel they actually make any difference at all. I'¨m not sure if it makes my foundation stay on better, but I can see an improvement in my skins texture when wearing this under my foundation. The texture of it is a bit odd at first but blends well into the skin. I find it to be less greasy than gosh velvet touch or Elf face primer. So I will certainly be buying this in full size. The small size of this tube is great for traveling and you still get enough product for several applications.

Glow all the way (pink) 0.35 OZ/ 9,9 grams:

This is a wonderful pink toned highligter. I find that pinkish highlighter work really well on my pale skin. I love this highlighter! It does remind me a bit of the Eyeko glow cream just with slightly more glow and easier to blend than Eyeko. this can be used on face or body. I'm not sure I need the full size of this. A little goes a long way and unless you want to use it on your body as well, I would say that the sample size is all you will need to be set for a very long time.

Plumping serum gloss (girl next door) 0.04 OZ/ 1,2 grams:

Probably the item I like the least in this kit. I don't dislike it but it's just average to me. I don't feel like this actually plumps my lips at all. I do however think that my lips appear to look a little fuller when wearing this gloss (if that makes sense) But it's not plumping my lips. It's got a nice cooling effect on the lips, no burning or tingling. I'm not crazy about the smell of the gloss. It's not a bad smell at all but it reminds me of another gloss I owned once that I just hated, so the smell makes me think of that awfull gloss lol. I won't be repurchasing this.

Blush Crush baked blush (living doll) 0.18 OZ/ 5 grams:

This is one bright pink blush! I have seen a lot of rave reviews about this blush and I must say that I agree with them. This is awesome stuff. It's very pigmented so you only need a little tiny bit. I'm very pale so I have to be extra careful not to over aplly but when used sparingly it's absolutely amazing. It gives my cheeks a nice pink glow and it lasts quite well. I'm not sure how much product their full size blushes hold but I think you get plenty of product in this deluxe sample. I don't think I need to repurchase the full size of this as the small size is all I need. I do however plan to get some more colours as I simply love these blushes.

Overall I would say I'm off to a really good start with the Hard Candy brand. I certainly recommend these kits if you are thinking about trying some different products from this brand.  I am certainly going to try out some more things.
