Lush solid Jungle conditioner review.

I bought the solid Jungle conditioner as a part of a haul I did a little over a month ago. I have been using the conditioner for about a month now so I think I'm ready to give you my honest opinion on it.

Price: $ 5,59 here  or £ 2,75 here.

Packaging: None. However it does come wrapped, so it does not mess up the rest of your order if it melts or rubs off during transit.

I bought the solid conditioner after trying the solid shampoo called "new" I love that shampoo. So I thought that I would like the conditioner as well. I did my research before buying it, and learned that most regular conditioner leaves behind a film of silicone that makes your hair feel smooth and conditioned. Lush conditioner does not have that. So I knew from the start that it would feel different from regular conditioners.

Initially I did not like the smell of this conditioner, to me it smells very earthy and grassy and also has a slight hint of henna scent to it. I don't like strong earthy smells so I initially hated the scent of it. However I have gotten used to the scent and now it's rather pleasant, not my favorite but it's nice. The scent also lingers in my hair for days. I have never tried a product where the scent would stay in your hair until you washed it again.

I just can't seem to get used to the feeling of this conditioner, I miss that silky and smooth feeling I got from my regular conditioner. And it really bothers me every single time I use it. When I rinse it out it just does not leave my hair soft and easy to manage. My hair gets really tangled with this conditioner and I just can't get used to it at all.

I can't let my hair air dry when using this conditioner, it makes it curl and frizz like crazy, and it just feels dry and kinda heavy. The only way I can get it to work is if I blowdry my hair and add a bit og serum to it. And I don't want to do that every time I wash my hair.

So yeah, this conditioner may be very healthy for my hair, but the things I have to do to make it look good afterwards are not, and I can't see the point of using a conditioner without silicone if I'm just going to use silicone based serum in my hair afterwards. So this product is not right for me.

However I will say that over time it has improved my hair a bit, So I know that it's doing a good job at conditioning my hair, I just can't get used to not having the silky feel of a regular conditioner.

The way I use it is to melt a bit of it in some hot water and stir it until it gets a little thick, and then I use it as a liquid conditioner. I just found it too difficult to work with in bar form.

So yeah... Mixed feelings about this, it's certainly not a bad product, and it does condition the hair. I just can't seem to get used to it and I need something that detangles my hair a bit better. So will I repurchase? Who knows... But for now I will use it up and hurry out and buy the thickes most moisturizing conditioner I can find.

Have you tried it? what do you think of it?

Makeup ban/project pan: Change of plans!

First of all. I have been a very very bad girl! E.l.f is currently running a 50% off the entire site deal and I "accidently" bought a whole bunch of stuff. I know bad kitty! Btw. the code is SUMMER50 if you are interested. (uk and EU only).

So as some of you know, I am/was currently on a "no buy". I am/was going to London in august and wanted to save up for some nice UK makeup haul. Right now my trip to London has been postponed for at least 2-3 months. I have gotten a temporary job at Peugeot Denmark and won't be able to take any time off.

Since it was all about the London trip - and considering how I sinned so bad- I have had to change the rules a bit.

The new rules are as follows:

I will have to use up 20 products before I can spend any money on beauty products. I will have to make an exception on conditioner as I am runing very low and I don't want to go months without it.

Here is what I have finished since I started:

As you can see not all of these were from my original post, I have added a few more things to use up to get to a total of 20.

All in all that is 8 empty full size products and a whole bunch of used samples and travel sizes. I will count it as 9 products used. So I still have 11 to go. I will be missing the Biotherm hydrating water, but I am not considering buying any of the other products ever again.

Here is what I am currently working on:
11 full size products. I threw in some samples I wanted to use up as well. This will sure take some time to get through, 2 mascaras, a foundation  and a lot of shampoo! phew it's going to be tough.

But THIS time I will have to do it. I can't keep failing like this.

Nail fail!

Ok so today I thought I would try and do some re<lly cute nail designs. I think the idea behind the design was pretty good, but the finished look leaves a lot to be desired. I guess I was in a hurry and apparently not as good with nail stickers as I thought LOL. Why is it I can never stick to a simple design, oh no I have to use ALL my nail stikers at the same time... what a mess.

Excuse the face, didn't bother to put on a ton of makeup.
See the ring I am wearing? it's an antique silver spoon form the 1930's. my Boyfriend made it for me for our 1 year anniversary. How cute is that!

Loevens.

A little confession.

I know I'm almost 25 but I can be a bit childish sometimes. My cousin showed me some girly super model colouring books a few years back (those kinds that young girl like to draw princesses and super models in) and I just had to have it. I used it quite often but for some time now I have not touched it. A little while ago I was looking throuh the pages and found something funny. Two drawings that I made, looked like they were made by a child, so Idecided I could do better than that. And gave them a little update.

Just thought it would be fun to share some of my childish sides with you :)
Have a great weekend.

Elf Complete Coverage Concealer review

Concealers can be a bit tricky for me, they are either too yellow or dark, they crease or they make my delicate eye skin look crepey and dry. I was hesitant to try a concealer from Elf, although I like most of their things I have always been picky about foundation and concealers, so I was not sure what to expect. I bought the light palette.

Price: 29,85 DKK here or 3,50£ here or 3$ here

Packaging: Nice sleek matte black palette with 4 concealers, a concealer brush and a mirror. As most studio packaging it seems sturdy and travel friendly. However this will take up more space in my makeup bag than my other wand or tube type concealers. you get 5,3 grams of product.

When I first opened the concealer palette I was quite dissapointed, all the colours seemed way too dark for me, but upon swatching them I found that they were not as dark on the skin as they looked in the palette.
you get 2 concealers with a pink undetone and 2 with a yellow undertone so you can mix and match to get the right shade for you. I can use the 2 first shades but the last 2 are too dark for me, even if I got a tan (highly unlikely as I just freckle and go red instead). I think it's great if you are unsure of wich colour would suit you, but I think they should make the same concealers in singles as well.

At first they seemed a little oily, little beeds of moisture had formed on the surface of the product, this is quite normal with creme concealers and creme foundation so I didn't worry about that. After a few uses they turn into a tackier and thicker consistency (not a bad thing though).

I really like how these apply to my eye area, they go on nice and creamy. After a few seonds it dries up a bit, not in a cakey or powdery way, the skin just absorb the excess moisture. I find this to be just right for my skin, it does not make my eye area look dry or cakey, it blends well and it is not too creamy and emollient, so I find this concealer to crease a lot less than my others. It's just the perfect mix between a really tacky thick concealer and a more liquid concealer.

This does claim to be full coverage, however that is not the case. I think it gives me just the coverage I need but if you are looking for full coverage this is not it.

I am actually really impressed with this concealer, it's the best concealer I own and certainly one of the better ones I have tried. I would love it if they came in singles as I feel it is a waste of product to have 2 shades I can't use. But I would still repurchase it.

Elf Everyday brights 32pc collection review

Elf recently had a promotion, where I got this palette for free with my order. I wanted to try the everyday basics but I missed that promotion. I am more into neutrals so I don't have that many brightly coloured eyeshadows so I thought this would be good to play with.

Price: 76,05DKK here or £9 here  wich is about 2,3DKK/ £0,28 per shadow.

Packaging: Sleek matte black palette with a nicely sized mirror inside the lid. This palette is a real pain to open. I broke my nail the first time, and I still have to be careful when opening it. It comes with a sponge tip applicator that I have already lost. But I don't like that kind of applicators anyways so no harm done.

The texture and pigmentation of these shadows are very different, some are matte, some have big chinks of glitter, some are satiny. Some colours hardly have any pigmentation, some have good pigmentation, some are a bit chalky, some are pressed way too hard. So this is really a hit or miss. There is not really that many colours in the palette that suits my skintone, I tend to gravitate more towards cool toned neutrals. Unfortunately for me, the ones that I thought I would like all have big chunks of glitter or no pigmentation to them. Quite a few of the colours look far too similar when swatched, So that is a bit of a bummer.

To be honest these swatches actually make them look better than they are. I have used my best primer and a lot of finger swiping to get some of them to show up.

However there are a few colours in the palette that I do like. There is a nice pink with ok pigmentation and some matte bold colours with ok pigmentation too. I am not a big fan of the chunky glitter and the shadows do have some fallout.

I'm not really impressed with this palette, too many bad shadows compared to the few good ones I would rather save the money and buy a few of their quads instead. I am glad that I got this for free or I would have been really bummed out about spending £9 on this palette. In my opinion it's not worth it. I would suggest that you go get the one of the 88 palettes on ebay (same as the ones on coastal scents) they will give you a wider array of colour, more consistency when it comes to quality and overall a nicer product.

So no repurchase for me, however I have seen some good reviews on their beauty encyclopedias so I may give them a try.

Eyeko cheeky colour blush duo review

So it's been a month or so since I bought this blush, just haven't gotten around to reviewing it yet. I bought 2 of these. The reason I have not gotten around to reviewing it is because my 2 cousins liked it so much that they bought mine. I did manage to take some pictures before they raided my stash ;)

I got the blush in the colour "Makeout".

Price: £6,50 or $10  here

Packaging: Cute as always. I really like the packaging on this blush because of the little compartment underneath the blush. Under the blush you find a little brush and a little mirror, nice if your on the go. I would not recommend using the brush with this particular blush though.

Wowza this blush is pigmented! first time I tried it I looked a bit scary. I'm used to using really pale blushes that needs a few dustings. This one I barely had to touch the product with my brush to get the right amount of pigment. My cousins have darker skin than me so it works better for them. If you are pale like me you have to be careful with this particular colour. The colours are wonderful though. Amazing shiny colour!

This lasts on me just like any other blush I have tried, I do need touch ups at the end of the day, but I need that with all my blushes. You get amazing quality and pigmentation for the price and I will be buying the lightest one  as soon as my makeup ban is over (really starting to hate that stupid makeup ban idea I got lol).

Eyeko is coming out with some new things and a completely different look soon. I can't wait. I don't know if that means that they will stop making the products they have on their site, but I would probably stock up on my favorite limited editions before it happens. Some of their things, like the bronzers are already gone.

Use my code : E15545  for a free gift with your order over $20. I believe that this weeks free gift is the "eyeko popstar line and shine" their duo eye pencil in electric blue and teal.

Quick update.

( just a random photo, wow just realized that it looks like I'm picking my nose lol, I'm not!)

Sorry for the lack of posts lately, my phone is misbehaving. I use my phone to take the pictures for my blog, and I will have to send it to be repaired. I will see if I can take some more pictures when it's behaving.

I have some reviews coming up soon, 3 different elf concealers, Eyeko makeout blush, Elf everyday brights palette, some mascaras and other goodies.

As some of you may know, I am on a makeup ban/project "a lot" pan. I have actually used up a couple of the things I was planning on using up, but I still have a long way to go. Some of the products are harder to use up than I thought. I have been a really good girl and have not bought any beauty products so far. It's not easy, I find myself looking at websites, planning hauls and thinking of good excuses lol.

Speaking of good excuses, my mom is treating me to a 3 day mother & daughter "vacation" in a hotel in the center of copenhagen. Ofcourse this is while I am still on a makeup ban. It's going to be difficult not to shop for cosmetics. I will have to try my hardest not to do so. But I have a feeling that I will probably fail.

That's all for me tonight, stay tuned for some new reviews tomorrow. And if my camera is willing, I will photograph my progress on the project pan.

Love yourself woman!

It hit me tonight as I was removing my makeup, that I've been showing you makeup and swatches and pictures of me all made up. But why have I not shown you a picture of me without makeup? I mean, why hide the "before" picture and skip straight to the after "picture"? If you are going to read my reviews and look at my pictures you "deserve" to see how I look without makeup on right?.

I don't wear makeup all the time, and I have no problems going outside without a perfect face. I use makeup because it's fun, it gives me more confidence and I can enhance the features that I like.

I've come to realize that I actually think I'm just as pretty without it!

I have not always been happy with the way I look, I have always struggled with my weight and I still have at least 40 pounds I would like to get rid of (doctor approves of this, not trying to be unhealthy here). Through out the last couple of years I have lost about 34 pounds (yay me) and it has made me realize a lot of things about myself and how I look at myself. I am still not happy about my weight but there are so many other things that I am truly happy about, and the rest of the weight loss will come eventually.

I've always hated my freckles and tried to cover them up, now they don't really bother me. I am thankful for having healthy skin and not dealing with skin problems far worse than any freckle.

I know I have flaws, we all do. But the things I like about myself easily outshine my flaws. And the makeup helps ;)

I think I have a healthy balance of being realistic about my looks and accepting the things I cannot change and loving myself just the way I am.

I truly believe that beauty comes from within. No matter how pretty a girl is I will automaticly find her a little more ugly if she has a really bad personality. And even the most pretty girl feels insecure sometimes.

I am not trying to make it sound like I looooove myself all the time. I still get insecure and I still care a little too much about what others think. So this post is also a reminder to myself on a bad day.

I wanted to say so many things and this was all I could remember to write down but I hope this will encourage you to focus more on the positive and just accept the negative.

Elf brightening eye color quad, day 2 night review

I tried the eye color quad in ethereal before and I sure did not like that one, but I thought that I should give the quads another try and bought the day 2 night quad.

Price: 12,68 DKK here or 1,50£ here

Packaging: Petite plastic compact with four eyeshadows, a sponge tip applicator and a tiny mirror. For such a low price I don't really care about the quality of the packaging, I just want eyeshadow. My only wish is, that they would make the eyeshadows in square pans. It's a bit difficult to get to the shadow in the corners of the pans. But again, for the price I would just buy a new one before bothering with getting the last bit of shadow out of the pan.

I must admit that I'm quite impressed with the colour in this quad. I didn't expect much from it because of my recent fail with the ethereal quad. This one is way better both in quality and colour selection.
I have swatched them with a primer underneath.

I really love all the colours and they are great for the price. This quad has given me back the courage to try some of the other colours. Ofcourse they are not as good as my favorite eyeshadows from Urban Decay or Too Faced, but they are not bad at all. I do have to wear a primer underneath or else they will crease, but most shadows do crease on me.

I would certainly repurchase this if I ever run out, and when my makeup ban is over I will probably buy them all. I'd like to do a post on all of the quads to see wich quads are good and wich quads are bad.

Makeup tips for pale skin (blush)

Today I will be writing about blush. These tips are based only on what works for me. You may already know about the things I will be writing about or they may not be right for you.

This is going to be a little different from my last post about foundation. Today I will show you what colour blushes suit my pale skin the best and talk a bit about what does not suit me. This is only suggestions, the colours shown may or may not suit your speciffic colouring.

1. I'm always careful with not choosing blushes that are too pigmented or too dark, as even the slightest bit of colour will show up on my skin. I know that some people find Elf studio blushes in tickled pink and candid coral to be too sheer but they are perfect for me. just 1-2 swipes with a blush brush and I have a natural flush to my cheeks.  (top candid coral, bottom tickled pink)

2. I stay away from blushes that look too purple, orange and brown as these just look silly on me. Some peachy colours work for me, it depends on how orange they are. A pretty light peachy pink suits me well.

3.  A nice mineral blush that I really enjoy using is Coastal Scents blush in the colour "true blush". This gives me a natural rosey pink flush. I do have to be careful with applying as this is quite pigmented for me. But it's so worth it.

I thought I would mention a nice bronzer for pale skin as well. Elf studio golden bronzer works really well for my skintone. I use the light colour to mix with the bronzers to get just the right shade for me. This is shimmery, so if you don't like shimmer then it's not for you. However I don't find it overly shimmery on my face, I need such a small amount for it to show up on me, so I don't feel like I'm packing on loads of shimmer.

When it comes to highlighter I normally stay away from golden ones. Highlighters with a pinkish shimmer to them really suits me as long as the pink shimmer is subtle enough. I have to use shimmery highlighters, I've tried using a matte white highlighter and it did not show up on me at all, I guess I'm just too pale for that.

I hope you found this helpful or interesting.

Wet n Wild color icon, Comfort Zone review.

I have never really been interested in Wet n Wild cosmetics before, always thought that the makeup stand in my local mall looked really boring and that it had to be too cheap to be any good. But after I've seen other bloggers and youtubers rave about it I decided to get it. I had to buy on Ebay as Denmark doesn't carry the full Wet n Wild range, just the stuff nobody ever raves about lol.

I got the "comfort zone palette" there is also a palette with purples and one with blues.

Price: I believe it's around 5$ in the US I had to pay 10$ on Ebay.

Packaging: Seems sturdy enough, but a real pain to open. After breaking a nail trying toget some of the stickers off I broke yet another trying to open the palette. It's still a bit of a pain to open. It comes with a little foam applicator, the kind you just throw away.

I was sooo excited to try these out, and my first impression was, that these shadows really looked good in the palette. My excitement quickly faded as I swatched these shadows. The colours were not as I expected and the quality of the shadows did not live of to my expectations. I guess I had some pretty high expectations after watching review after review.

I decided to not be such an eyeshadow snob and give this palette a try. If I did not like after using it every day for a week then at least I could say I tried.

So what do I think of the palette now? I absolutely love it. I love most of the colours and I found them quite easy to work with once I got the hang of it. They stay on all day when worn over a primer and I have really come to love some of the darker colours. The shadows are quite pigmented but not as vibrant  as higher quality shadows. They are all shimmery/satiny, some have a little glitter in them but not big chunky glitter that get's everywhere.

I think I bought this expecting Urban Decay or Too faced quality, as some bloggers mentioned that some of the shades were dupes for mac shadows. They certainly are not of that high a quality but still very nice for the price. I definately will be running to my nearest Wet n Wild stand as soon as my makeup ban is over. I'd like to see what else Wet n Wild have to offer.

Makeup tips for pale skin (Foundation)

Being pale, I know how hard it can be to find the right makeup. And I used to have a hard time finding foundations. I was afraid to use bronzer because the ones I tried were way too dark, and blush was scary for me. So today I will be giving you my foundation tips for pale skin. These tips are based only on what works for me. You may already know about the things I will be writing about or they may not be right for you.

1. It's always a good idea to ask for samples. I've tried testing foundation in stores, only to come home with a bad match. So if it's possible ask for samples.

2. BB cream is a tinted moisturiser, it normally only comes in 1 to 2 different shades. There are several brands out there, and you can choose between sheer to full coverage, matte or dewey finish, dry or oily skin. I find that all the BB creams I have tried matches my skin tone plus they actually help with any skin issues I have. I normally purchase DR. Jart for dry skin but there are a ton of different BB creams out there. I normally buy from Ebay.

3. I find it really helpful to have a white foundation. That way I can mix it in my regular foundation to match me better, and I won't have to throw out a perfectly good but slightly too dark foundation. I use the one from Stargazer.

4. I actually buy most of my foundation online as the lightest foundations I can find in stores here in Denmark are too dark or yellow. I always buy a sample size first to try out. I get my samples from Coastal Scents and camera ready cosmetics I am going to try Jardé after my makeup ban.

5. I was actually really surprised to be able to buy a foundation in a store a few months back. Gosh X-ceptional wear in 11 porcelain is the first "drugstore" foundation I have been able to wear. So it's worth looking for.

6. I talk a lot about Elf products, and I really love Elf but if you are pale like me you may not be able to use their powders or foundations. I have tried the clarifying pressed powder in ivory and it's too orange for me. I can however wear the tinted moisturiser from the essential line, but I like more coverage than it gives.

7. Choose a foundation with a good amount of Spf in it, pale skin is prone to sun damage so take good care of it.

I hope this was helpful to some. I think I will make this into a series as I have plenty of other makeup tips for pale skin. Please comment below and let me know what you think.

Elf hypershine lip gloss review

So I have been collecting these lip glosses over the last six months and finally thought I would do a review on them. I have: Bubblegum, fairy, joy, mauve and sugar plum.

Price: 1 $ here 1,50£ here and 12,68 DKK here.

Packaging: Twist up pens with brush applicator, clear and white plastic. There is noting really special about the packaging, but I do like how easy they are to throw in the bag and I like the nice brush.

As all the other lip products from the essential line, these glosses have a scent to them. Out of all the scents of the lip products this is my least favorite. It smells a bit synthetic and like burned sugar to me. But it's not so bad that I would not still use them. I like these glosses over lipstick or just to add a bit of moisture to my lips.

Bubblegum:

Fairy:

Joy:

Mauve:

Sugar plum:

I love Bubblegum and Mauve so much and I have already repurchased these two a couple of times, I would not repurchase the others and certainly not sugar plum, it looks terrible on me. I am way too pale for that shade. It will probably be more suitable for medium skin tones.

For the price these glosses are really nice, they are a bit sticky but I like that. I would certainly recommend anyone to try the mauve colour.

Lush haul

I recieved my latest order from lush last week. Just thought I would share them with you.

I have already reviewed the "New" shampoo bar and this is a repurchase of it. Thought I would try some conditioners so I bought the solid "Jungle" conditioner and "American cream" conditioner. I've tried them a few times but will try them a little longer before I do a review on them. it's the second time I buy henna from Lush, one whole block normally last me 2 times. I will do a review on this product soon. I also bought another shampoo bar, the "ultimate shine" bar, will be reviewing this as well when I have tried it some more.

If you buy 2 solid shampoos you get a free shampoo tin.

Lush was kind enough to give me some samples of their different moisturisers as I've been wanting to try those out for a while now. I love that Lush gives you samples and that you can just ask for specific ones. It's a good way to try before you buy. You do have to make an order with them to get samples online. But that's only fair.

I will keep you updated on the different items as I get to test them out some more.

HOT Makeup spring eyeshadow palette

This was the prize for last months giveaway. The winner (Anloeha) was kind enough to let me swatch everything for you guys. So thank you Anloeha and I hope you enjoy your prize.

Price: 150DKK (sale) here

Here are the swatches.

Most of these shadows are super pigmented and the quality is really fantastic!
The shadows are baked so they can me used both wet and dry. I must get one for myself as soon as my makeup ban is over. I would use a primer such as Too Faced shadow insurance under the shadow to make sure you get the most vibrant colour payoff.

Makeup ban/ project A LOT pan!

Here's the deal, I've spent waaay too much on products these last couple of months. At first I used my blog as an excuse but I have loads of products lining up just waiting to be reviewed So I can't really use that excuse.

I'm going to London in August, and would like to go shopper crazy, so I need to save all the money for then.

I thought I would do like a "project 10 pan" thing, but just with more products and my own made up rules.

So here are my rules:
I am not allowed to buy any new skincare, haircare or makeup products from now and until I step foot on english grounds. In the meantime I am going to try to use up the products listed below.

1. Nivea Natural Beauty daily peeling, almost full.
2. L'oreal Nutrigloss shampoo, travel size.
3. Imju fiberwig mascara, almost new.
4. Yves Rocher Lash plumping mascara, almost done.
5. Shiseido gloss (cant remeber name, the text has rubbed off) 2/3 left.
6. Shills BB cream, no idea how much is left.
7. L'oreal collagen filler, almost done.
8. Elf vanilla lip balm, brand new.
9. makeup store lipgloss, quite full.
10. Etude house, Magic BB cream,2/3 left.
11. Elf mist and set, halfway done.
12. Gosh face primer, 1/4 left.
13. Yves Rocher cherry shower gel, travel size.
14. Yves rocher face cream samples.
15. Clarins cleanser samples
16. CK Euphoria blossom perfume, around 5 spritzes left.
17. Single use samples galore.

Everything I review from now until august is products that I have bought/ordered before today. There will not be a lack of reviews as I have a lot of things waiting to be reviewed and I will also review the things from my list as I go about finishing them. I am currently waiting for an Elf order to arrive and I just recieved an order from Lush so don't worry :).

I've got plenty of shampoo, lotions and makeup to last me to august, my only concern may be with hair dye. I just bought some henna from Lush, but I'm doubting that it will last me all the way to august, But let's find out shall we.

Feel free to join me and do your own little thing. And comment below if you have ever done or are planning to do something similar.

Lush "New" Shampoo bar review

Lush says: "Stimulating spice shampoo bar for tired scalps suffering from hormonal hair loss. In times of stress and hormonal change, like pregnancy and after giving birth, your hair can start to fall out. Fortunately, this is usually temporary, but it's a distressing thing to happen. The New Shampoo Bar is for those times. We make it with bay, clove and cinnamon essential oils to stimulate the scalp. Nourishing nettle, peppermint and rosemary add shine and soften the hair."

Price: 4,85£ here or 9,95$ here

Packaging: NONE! how great is that!

This winter I was loosing a LOT of hair. Every time I washed it I would have hairs all over my hands and in the drain of my shower. I got really scared, but knew that nothing was physically wrong with me, I took my vitamins and my omega 3 fatty acids so I was certain I was not missing anything in my diet. At first I thought it might have something to do with the hair dye I used, so I changed to a better alternative, but nothing changed.

I stumbled upon the Lush website a few months ago and saw the "new" solid shampoo bar. I thought it was worth giving it a try, I mean it is supposed to last you as long as 3 bottles of regular shampoo, so I would actually be saving money by using too.

When I first smelled the bar I did NOT like it. The scent of Cinnamon is way too overpowering and I was afraid that I would run around smelling like cinnamon all the time. I did not experience any tingling sensation on my scalp as some people say they do, so I thought that it didn't work for me.

But man was I wrong. I could see a difference in my hair after just one use. It makes my hair appear much thicker and fuller, and gives it a lovely shine. And I did not end up smelling like crazy.

Here a couple of months later I am still loving this shampoo bar, My hair is really growing out, the only con to that is all the curly baby hairs sticking up from my scapl making my hair look a bit goofy, but I just take it as a good sign, that my hair is growing back.

I will certainly keep using this shampoo and I have also gotten my mom hooked on it.  It does dry out my hair a little more than my old shampoo but nothing a good conditioner can't handle.

This is the best thing I have ever done for my hair! I'm currently trying out the Henna hair dye and the Jungle conditioner too so I will keep you posted on those.

Playing with polymer clay.

hey guys. I thought I would share something I made tonight with you.  I know it's just a silly little thing but I'm really pleased with the results, it's the first time I've tried making something else than beads for my bracelet, so I think I did OK. With a little more practise it might actually look like something an adult made haha.

I know this post is totally off topic, let me know if you'd like to see more of that stuff. I also paint a bit and have a few other small projects laying around.

Eyeko London lips lipgloss review

Some more products from Eyeko, yeah I know I'm Eyeko crazy at the moment. I got one of these glosses as a gift when I made my irst sale as an Eyeko ambassador and the other one I bought with my own hard earned money. These are limited editions and I would like to collect them all before they are out of stock, but so far I only have: Portobello and Promrose Hill.

Price: 6,50£/ 10$ or around  56,50DKK

Packaging: The gloss comes in a nice squeeze tube Decorated with pictures that reminds you of London. The tube is clear and the text/pictures are dark grey. They have a nice slant plastic applicator that makes it easy to apply. You get 13,15 grams of product.

Wow the scent takes me back to my childhood. The gloss smells just like the sweet candy necklaces I used to love as a child. I absolutely love them for that! They do however not taste of anything, so you don't have to worry about licking the gloss off.

These are quite sheer, so they are good for those days where I just want a little something on my lips but still want to keep it nice and natural. They do wear off quite fast, just like any average gloss does on my lips, but then I get to reapply it and smell the lovely candy smell again.

Left: Portobello   Right: Primrose Hill

Portobello: Is a very sheer pale pink with golden shimmer to it. It's very close to my natural lip colour so it just looks like I but a bit of golden shimmery gloss on.

Primrose Hill:  Does add a bit more colour to the lips than Portobello does. It's a pretty rosy pink with some micro fine golden sparkle to it. The sparkle is not as golden as Portobello but not quite silver either.
It shows up a little darker in the picture than it does in real life.

These glosses can be a bit sticky for some, but with a lip balm underneath there will be no problems with that.

You can actually win the Primrose Hill lip gloss among other things in my giveaway this month. Click here for more information.

My friend The OPI Junkie is also having an Eyeko giveaway where one of the prizes is the Portobello lip gloss, read more about how to enter her giveaway here.
