Makeup Revolution lip liners + Hypocrisy liners - All swatched!

I couldn't help myself. When I saw Makeup Revolution had launched lipliners and some new eye-and-lip liners I knew I had to get them all. There are also some regular eyeliners in the line, that I did not get, except from a basic brown. But I got all the lip liners and all the Hypocrisy liners as well. I believe that these are £1 a piece, but I bought them in the bundle packs on Makeup revolutions website wich saved me about £3. So I only payed about £10 for all these liners STEAL! Now my intention is to use all of them as lip liners, I will be testing the Hypocrisy liners out as eyeliners as well, but I bought them to use on the lips.
Swatches L-R: Depraved, Crime, Vice, Baddest blue, Tipx.
I can already tell, that I am not a fan of these, as eye-liners. I prefer to use them as lip-liners. I am wearing Baddest blue on my lips right now. And if you are not afraid of a Little color, you will love this. You can get away with using these on the waterline though, but they are not super pigmented or long lasting in the waterline. As lipliners, they have full on color and last quite well. I could have used a Black liner with this formulation though, I've been hooked on Black lips lately and I tohught it would have been an obvious color to have in this collection, as these are both eye-liners and lip-liners in one.
Swatches L-R: Vamp, rebel, cherry red, bold pink, soft pink, baby pink, the one, nearly naked.
I have only played around with 3 of the colors as of now, and I can say that they are nice and pigmented. They are not overly creamy, but they are not extremely dry either. I would have preferred a Little more creaminess but for £1 each they are perfect! You can use them alone or paired with a lipstick, either way they last really well on the lips. In the Picture below I paired Rebel with the one and added a nude lipstick on top. I really like how it turned out. I feel that the Collection is missing a true red liner and maybe a mauve as well, but I hope Makeup Revolution come out with more shades some time in the future.

So that's my first impression of these new liners from Makeup Revolution. Overall I like them, and I feel like I got what I expected from a £1 liner. I probably won't use them on my eyes but as lip liners they are all FAB! So definately check both these Collections out if you are looking for a new lip color.

    1. Yeah it's a nice touch with the built in sharpeners. I'm definately not running out of either lip liners or sharpeners for a good while :)

  5. I would probably use these as lipliners too. The only eyeliners i like using in the waterline are Urban Decay, Chanel, MAC and Illamasqua x

    1. Sephora, gosh, NYX and Jordana has some really nice budgeproof ones as well. I need my liner to be budge/smudge and waterproof hehe. But that blue is an amazing lipcolor!

    2. I always find the cheaper ones don't have as much pigment and don't glide as easy, meaning to get the color to show up you need to press down really hard. You don't really want ones like that when applying to your waterline x

    3. These (the MUR ones)are actually pretty creamy and quite pigmented, but the color does not transfer all that well to the waterline. You could easily line your upper lid with these, but they transfer so they would need to b set with an eyeshadow, wich is just too much Work for me haha. I prefer something that just sets. I think they would be great for smudging though. But they are perfect for the lips.
