Stila field of florals convertible color palette

I wasn't originally going to review this palette. As I thought this was still a limited edition palette. Turns out it's available on Stila's website, so I guess it's not limited edition afterall. After that quick realization, I thought that this palette definately need a review! If you are not familiar with Stila's converrtible lip and cheek colors, let me tell you. They are amazing Little pots of Dewey, creamy goodness. They are also $25 each!

This palette is "only" $49 and you get 12 grams of product, compared to the 4,5 grams you get in one regular convertible pot. So the palette is definately a great deal. The packaging is pretty cool too. It's very sturdy, and I could easily throw it in my purse for touch ups, it's not too big and bulky, it has a great big mirror and a good magnetic closure.

You get 12 different colors, where 8 of them are from their permanent line and the last 4 are exclusive to this palette. So if you were to fall in love with one of the permanent Shades, you could just go buy the full size. So this is a great way to try out some different colors from the range. And believe me, they are going to last you a long time even though they are less than 1/4 of a full convertible color each

I'm sooo pleased with this palette. I originally just bought it, to use on the lips, and it really does perform well on the lips. But they are amazing on the cheeks. They stay on all day and some of the Shades leave a Little bit of a stain behind. I love that you get some very neutral/natural options, some pinks, a coral, a peach, some deeper Shades and an amazing bright fuschia. The lighter colors, seem more opaque and the darker brighter colors are more sheer, wich makes it more wearable on the cheeks. You definately don't need to worry about pigmentation with these, they are very buildable.

I use a stipple brush to apply these to my cheeks, and my finger or a lip brush to apply them to my lips. I really recommend these, and I have nothing bad to say about them at all. If you are a lip or cheek makeup junkie, you will love this versatile bad boy of a palette!

    1. it's even more vibrant pinky purple in real life, for some reason that color just doesn't photograph that well hehe. But it's an amazing palette for a lip junnkie like me. I have been using lillium as my blush a lot, and Magnolia and peony on the lips a lot.

    1. I had to get it online, Stila isn't available in Denmark, but I hope the palette becomes more widely available. But you can get it online from Stila UK's website Honey http://stila.co.uk/collections/all-products/products/field-of-florals-lip-and-cheek-palette for £30 :)
